Results from the survey
1039 customers participated in a questionnaire survey on the effect of posture clothes from ActivePosture® on posture as well as pain relief. The respondents had to answer questions about any pain and tension they had in shoulders, upper back, lower back, neck and head.
The effect of posture clothes
1. Relief of headache
Of the respondents in the survey, 266 stated that they suffer from headaches in their day to day life. The results show that the majority of respondents with headaches have noticed an improvement after starting to wear ActivePosture’s posture clothing. The improvement could be less pain or less intensity of their headaches. Often headaches are related to poor posture and the respondents generally feel that the posture clothes have had a positive effect on their posture, resulting in fewer headaches/migraines. 85% of respondents would recommend ActivePosture® products to their family, friends and colleagues.
2. Relief of upper back pain
Out of the 1039 respondents, 422 people answered that they suffer from pain in the upper back. The majority of respondents felt a positive effect on their posture after wearing ActivePosture’s posture clothes and as a result felt a soothing effect on both the intensity and frequency of their upper back pain. 83% of the respondents indicated that the positive experience led them to wanting to recommend ActivePosture® products to family, friends and colleagues.
3. Relief of neck pain
589 people stated in the study that they suffer from neck pain in everyday life. The study shows that ActivePosture® posture correcting clothing can potentially relieve and reduce neck pain, which can occur as a result of slouching, lifting, standing and lying in a poor position. The majority of participants have felt a real positive effect on their neck pain, and 81% would recommend ActivePosture® products to family, friends and colleagues.
4. Relief of shoulder pain
In the study, 605 people indicated that they suffer from shoulder pain. The results show that a large proportion of the users surveyed feel that ActivePosture® posture clothing has had a positive effect on both the frequency and intensity of their shoulder pain. More than 80% feel that their posture is improved, and in addition, 82% would recommend ActivePosture® products to family, friends and colleagues.
5. Relief of lower back pain
In the study, 465 people indicated that they suffer from pain in the lower back. A large part of the respondents has experienced a positive effect by using posture clothes as a supplement to pain relief, resulting in both frequency and intensity of their pain being reduced. In addition, respondents have become more aware of their posture and feel that their posture has improved. 78% indicated that they would recommend ActivePosture® posture clothes to family, friends and colleagues.
